"The staff is careless to resident needs and rather talk to eachother/ throw endless work parties. The entire place only cares about money will not do anything extra out of kindness unless its apart of the task sheet. The managers are aware of the neglect from caregivers and other managers and refuse to do anything about it. Memory Care manager was the best and most caring... Read More

Welcome to the Carlton family, Kathleen. Let me commend you for the often-difficult task of recognizing “when” is the right time for placement and making mom’s care needs a priority in that decision. A smooth and comfortable transition for mom is just as important to us, and we are pleased to hear that she is adjusting nicely. At Carlton, we take tremendous pride in finding the right staff for all of the positions within the community.
We look for unique qualities that are not often seen but “felt.” We like to call it the “Carlton Caring Gene.” Having daily encounters filled with compassion, joy, and love is what we strive to provide for all our residents. In just a few weeks, we will introduce a few new menu selections to the culinary program that embraces a healthy, fresh, full-of-flavor program called the “Mind Diet.” I’m excited to hear what mom thinks about the newest menu selections and hope she’ll love them too!
