"I am so grateful to the Gardens Care Columbine facility and staff for helping shepherd my father through cancer and dementia, almost to the very end. Hi Lauren. I am so sorry your experience was unpleasant.
I was aware of your brief employment and you were at the home for just a few hours before you walked out. The house manager and administrator designee were completely taken off guard with your anger display. We all tried to call you to discuss further since they felt the situation did not justify your response. We did not have success understanding the issues contributing to the depth of your concern but were happy to discuss and see if another location would have been a better fit.
The state has been to Columbine Acres many times and we do very well with our regulatory compliance. We wish you the best in your career journey.
