It was truly our honor to care for your mother, Marilyn. She was a remarkable woman, and we are so thankful to have been part of her journey. Your reflections about her time with us—and the recognition of our team’s efforts—mean more than words can express.

"I am only rating the dining services at the Hartford location. I was visiting a family member and had lunch with them. I ordered chicken and was very, very dry and cold. The sweet potato had half cut off so was a tiny portion. The coffee was extremely watery. The service took 2 hours as only 2 people working in whole dining room. The events you have described in your review are, obviously, unacceptable. I am sorry to think that any of our residents or guests have had such a negative experience. I assure you that this is a most uncommon report. Your review has been shared with the dining staff and will be shared with our resident dining committee. Staff has been reminded or the importance of treating each resident and guest with the utmost courtesy and respect.
Based on my own frequent interaction with residents, including dining room visits, resident council meetings, and one-on-one conversations, I am confident that your own experience does not describe the typical dining experience here at The Heights. Many of our dining staff members have worked here for ten-plus years and have forged warm and wonderful relationships with the residents of our community. When an unfortunate situation arises, residents and guests are encouraged to bring concerns to the Director of Dining Services or to myself.
