"Silvertree Senior apartments has a lot to live up too converting from Taylor Home apartments. They have improved the grounds, but residents no longer are allowed to have their outside plants. The ability to have outside plants allowed the residents to have an activity which gave them pleasure and also an activity. There is sometimes someone on site in case the residents... Read More

"Stay away! This place gets worse and worse every day. Taylor Home was the previous owner and the apartments were for seniors who are low income and mostly HUD recipients. They did nothing to improve the place and it fell into disrepair. So there was hope when the new owners took over. Should have had a clue when they only gave the assisted living facility residents 2 weeks... Read More

We are disappointed to hear that you are unhappy with our efforts. I would like to take this opportunity to provide some additional clarification.
1. We did not close down the assisted living facility. The previous owners closed that facility roughly 6 months prior to our purchase of the community.
2. Regarding the exterior improvements we are sorry that our progress has failed to exceed your expectations. Back in January 2020 we addressed the needed sidewalk repairs. We repaired nearly 30 sections of failed concrete and ground down all trip hazards. We addressed all known concerns and if you have a specific concern about the condition of any sidewalk we encourage that you notify the management staff so that we can address this. All exterior building surfaces are currently in the process of being pressure washed and we are committed to maintaining the exterior appearance of the building better than our predecessors. Yes, we have removed some trees and vegetation. We consulted with a certified arborist and any tree that has been removed was either diseased, dying or causing damage to the community (sidewalk or foundations). We have grand plans to improve the overall landscaping to the community and the first part of the process is the removal of some of the existing overgrown vegetation. We intend to install new irrigation prior to installing any new plantings and thank you for your continued patience.
3. We have recently kicked off a $1,000,000 renovation of the community. The recent pandemic has slowed our ability to proceed at the pace we would like. We anticipate the the project will be complete by the Fall of 2020. The improvements consist of a major remodeling of the community building that houses our beauty salon, community room, library, computer room and TV room. We are very excited to be adding a fitness room and game activities area that will also include a new pool table. In addition to enhancing the common area amenities we are working with a landscape architect on enhancing the exterior hardscape of the community. We are confident that these much needed improvements will significantly enhance the resident living experience.
