"It's horrible how the worker's are over worked and under payed the residents are double breifed in memory care the Nurse's drink on the job the Don works in real estate as well and most of her time is spent in her office working on that instead of checking on the residents please please check on your love ones if they are there."

The Director of Nursing at this facility is a dishonest and incompetent liar who should be relieved of her duties as Director of Nursing for Bloom at Kessler. We are sorry to hear about your experience with Bloom at Kessler and appreciate you sharing feedback.
We want you to know that the Bloom Owners and Bloom’s Regional Director of Operations, along with the local team, have again reviewed this matter. We followed our policies and while we're limited in what we can share publicly due to privacy, we stand by our decision and believe your father is in an appropriate Skilled setting. He, unfortunately, is not appropriate for Bloom's Assisted Living or Memory Care. It would be in Bloom's interest to accept new residents like your father, but we only accept residents that are appropriate for the care we provide. We can assure you that we are not trying to get rid of residents who require Memory Care; to the contrary, Bloom offers a dedicated, safe and secure setting for residents with early, mid and late stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia assuming he or she is appropriate for our Assisted Living/Memory Care setting. This is for the betterment of all residents, associates and the community and is the reason Bloom has a stellar reputation, and long waiting lists in Indiana over the past decade.
Bloom is a family company that has been serving seniors since 1965. Our owners are intimately involved in operations and we are committed to helping seniors flourish. We are so sorry we couldn't help your father.
While we're regretful this has been your experience with Bloom and do not think name calling is productive, it's not an accurate representation of what transpired nor a reflection of the hard working and loyal associates at this community. As you know, we scheduled a tour immediately upon your call and could not assess your father until he was fever free. After he was appropriately assessed, we suggested a reassessment after physical therapy.
We wish you well and are happy to be a resource and recommend other Skilled Nursing Facilities if you remain unhappy with your father’s current facility. If we can be helpful, please contact us.
