"This place used to be good until the new management took over. As a person who has a family member living in this establishment, I am deeply concerned. For one, they didn’t put any salt on the pavements or shovel the snow, which is a BIG safety concern considering there was 4-6 inches of snow. We are confused by your review, as we did clear walkways to the best of our abilities (but just like the city of Wichita), it may not be up to some people's standards. It was a severe blizzard, and the state of Kansas advised people to stay home. The clubhouse and laundry facility are open during normal business hours, and this is how it's been for decades at this property. In addition, we conducted annual surveys on our properties, and the last one here showed that most residents were pleased with how we ran the property. It's possible that since you don't reside at the property, you might just not be aware of these things. "Sad that my mother moved to wichita to end up alone in these apartments after living with us for so many years ,,,, wish there was some kind of a security officer driving around making sure there isn't anyone with bad intentions walking around ,,, while I was visiting I did see two young men hanging around for a long time and they didn't seem to be at any particular reside... At many communities in Wichita, the best route to go whenever residents feel uncomfortable or see something suspicious, is to call the Wichita Police Department.
