Response from management
Dear Ms. Ortiz,
We are sorry to learn of your negative experience as a new member of our Covello Older Adult Center. Yes, the wheelchair lift is out of order which is very unfortunate and a hardship for all. Bids are out with repair vendors to remedy this (necessary process since the building is owned by NYC). The Program Director, Mara, will call you to discuss this situation as we hope to regain your confidence in our Center as this situation is not typical of our usual high standards.
