"My mother was a resident in the skilled nursing area and received neglectful care after she was left unattended, fell, and left virtually unattended for 2 days. She ultimately died from her injuries. DADS was contacted and upon their inspection, First Colony Health and Rehabilitation was found neglectful and in violation of many standards. "Beware of this facility. My cousin was here for six days and left there with a catastrophic brain injury. On the sixth day he was there he complained of shortness of breath and asked for help. When help finally arrived he had no heartbeat and was not breathing. He was resuscitated and was transferred to St Luke's Sugarland. His family was never told how long their loved on... Read More
